Historic Tintype Portraits

Handcrafted along the 19th-century wet plate collodion process, each tintype is created one plate at a time. Sessions are intentional, unhurried, and designed to produce a physical image that carries weight, permanence, and story.

No two plates are identical. The image you hold is the original — not a reproduction, but a unique physical keepsake created in real time.

About the Photographer

Marc Haserodt

Red Rabbit Photography blends cinematic imagery with authentic wet plate tintype portraiture. Based in Central Ohio, each session is crafted with intention — whether documenting a machine at golden hour or inviting a subject to create a one-of-a-kind tintype plate using a 19th-century process.

Red Rabbit was founded on a belief that photography should feel physical, lasting, and clearly personal. Images should have substance. They should carry weight. They should last.
